3 Day Backpacking in Bali

Who is the hell who gak Pengen go vacation to Bali. The island with its magical appeal is sure to make memories unforgettable.

Some people say that holiday in Bali is expensive.

Well it is if the contents of your holiday schedule most selfie in the beautiful cafes or stay in the star hotel, you must be willing to spend more budget.

However, this time we are going to give you an alternative backpacker-style holiday in Bali for 3 days which is cost-effective but full of fond memories. Hehehehe...

Day 1 – Bedugul & Tanah Lot

Bedugul and Tanah Lot Save the beautiful natural beauty of Bali. It seems mandatory to visit on the first day of the backpacking-an in Bali-MU.

Bedugul is located at the altitude which is quite high and is a cool area (do not forget to bring a jacket well). If you come here quite early in the morning, then you can capture photographs of the tourist spots that are still in the fog.

While Tanah Lot, is one of the best places to enjoy Sunset in Bali. Taking pictures in front of Tanah Lot temple with a sunset background is sure to make your Instagram rise dramatically!

DAY 1 | 09:00 – 10:00
Pura Ulun Danu, Beratan

Your first destination is the famous Ulun Danu temple.

Do you have never heard of Ulun Danu temple?

Try opening your wallet. There is money Rp. 50 thousands? Well, the temple that is in the paper money 50 thousand is nothing else is.. Yaps Pura Ulun Danu.

The temple is located on the lake side with a view of the hills behind it. When the water is tide, the temple will look afloat. Very cool!

Mumpung is located in Pura Ulun Danu, you can try to rent a Jukung (small boat) to play the lake. In addition, Jukung also be cool props to the photo here.

Entrance fee to Pura Ulun Danu is only Rp. 20.000 per person (local) and car park Rp. 5.000.

DAY 1 | 10:00 – 11:00
Bali Handara Gate

Well this is actually the location of the gate entering a 5 star hotel complex called Bali Handara & Golf Course.

However, there are a lot of foreigners who take pictures here to this place so it's a popular spot for Instagram-style photos.

Even the popular I was so, now the management Hotel charge Rp. 20,000 for a picture of 10 minutes here. It was a great hotel.

DAY 1 | 11:00 – 12:00Tamblingan Lake

Next we go to one of the Twin lakes in Bali, namely Lake Tamblingan.

This Spot is very popular among the photographer prewedding in Bali. Every time here, we almost always find a couple who are capturing their prewed photos here.

Usually the hell they mostly take a moment of sunrise when the lake is still covered with a thin fog. Jukung become an absolute props also for the photographs here.

If you want to travel super budget, you can also make your tent setup and overnight camping here.

HARI 1 | 12:00 – 14:00Wanagiri Hill

One of the spots with the natural beauty of Bali that again most exist on Instagram is Wanagiri Hill. This place is specially built for the tourists who are selfie hobbies.

There are some spots that are created resembling a giant bird's nest. You can enter it and take a very unique photo as above. Funny right..

If you do not want photos in ' Bird's Nest ' (think not possible yahh...), you can enjoy the viewer of the Twin lakes from the height.

For the entrance fee here is very cheap loh. Only Rp. 10,000 per person.

DAY 1 | 14:00 – 17:00
Journey to Tanah Lot

Once you're satisfied at Wanagiri Hill, it's time to head down the mountainous area to the south of Bali to enjoy sunset at Tanah Lot.

The trip there takes approximately 2 hours. So do not be kesorean yah go to his land. You can also find lunch while heading there.

DAY 1 | 17:00 – 18:30
Tanah Lot Temple

This one temple has become one of the icon of tourist attraction in Bali. In addition, if you want to see the most beautiful sunset in Bali, you can stop by this Tanah Lot temple.

Don't forget to visit Goa that contains a white snake well. It is said that if you touch this snake, then you will get a good fortune loh!

DAY 1 | 18:30 – Sleep

Time to rest... We used to be yah first day, do not get too tired because there are still 2 more days.

HARI 2 | 09:00 – 10:30
Tegalalang Rice Field

The natural beauty handmade by local farmers in the village of Tegalalang has its own charm.

It is best to visit Tegalalang before the harvest season, when the rice fields are filled with bright green rice.

There are several cafes that are located on the edge of Tegalalang, where you can enjoy this beautiful scenery while enjoying a lovely coffee.

If you need to buy souvenirs typical of Bali, you can also find a variety of Ubud's typical wooden carvings that sell a lot at small kiosk stalls around the Tegalalang area.

HARI 2 | 10:30 – 12:30
Monkey Forest

After from Tegalalang, you can visit the tourist attractions in Ubud which is unique and exciting, namely the Monkey Forest!

Yups.. This 10 hectare place is filled with more than 600 cute monkey tails and 115 species trees giant loh.

This place is sacred, so you still have to keep the conduct of yahhh... If you want to get a moment of fun with these monkeys, try to buy bananas for Rp. 20,000 to give to the monkeys here.

DAY 2 | 12:30 – 14:30

After a fun game with monkeys, you can have lunch first. Nearby there are actually a lot of beautiful cafes like Watercress, Habitat, etc.

If you want a cheap and festive, there are many choices such as Nasi Ayam Kedewatan, etc.

HARI 2 | 14:30 – 15:30
Ubud Water Palace (Puri Sarasvati)

After full lunch, let's proceed to the next destination. Ubud Water Palace is one of the iconic buildings in Ubud.

There is a large pond filled with lotus flowers. Not surprisingly, many people who want to photograph beautiful here, especially women.

Also, if you are here at night (at 7:30 pm), there is usually a dance performance.

DAY 2 | 15:30 – 16:30Ubud Market

Well, not far from the Sarasvati castle there is a pretty crowded Ubud market and complete selling a variety of souvenirs typical of Bali loh.

So if you're in Ubud again, you can try your bargain skills here. There are various kinds of funny stuff that again trends in selling here Loh, such as round rattan bags, typical Balinese fabrics until a good wood carving-good.

DAY 2 | 16:30 – 18:30Sunset at Campuhan Hill

Next, we prepare to witness the second sunset in Bali. One of the spots that are still around Ubud where you can see the sunset is at Campuhan Hill.

Many locals call this place as Bukit Cinta, because there are many couples who spend two times every afternoon here.

The unique of Campuhan Hill is the contour of its rising land and it is pinned with 2 valleys. If you're in a distant photo or drone, you'll definitely make your photos dramatic!

DAY 2 | 18:00 – Sleep
Dinner + Return to Hotel

It's time to go to Hotel for rest. Do not forget to dinner. Tomorrow we proceed to day 3!

Day 3 – Uluwatu

Uluwatu is a haven for both local and international backpackers. Although it is located in the mainland of Bali, but Uluwatu has a lot of beautiful beaches and waves suitable for surfing!

And of course... Most of the time, you just need to pay for admission!

DAY 3 | 09:00 – 11:00
Melasti Beach

This one beach is actually similar to Pandawa beach. Both have the same characteristics. The limestone cliffs form a dramatic landscape.

However, not too many people know the location of Melasti beach, so arguably this place is still quite quiet.

The beach is quite clean. If we recommend, you should take a photo of Melasti Beach's highest spot. See the result.

DAY 3 | 11:00 – 13:00
Batu Jaran Hill

Well, this one place is very rarely visited by tourists. Maybe because the location is not too visible and the entrance is still lacking good.

But here you can find the view of the cliffs with the sea off like Uluwatu Temple Loh (quieter version). Sunset Here is also really cool.

Added to the area of Batu Jaran Hill, there is a lighthouse tower that has been unused. Well suited for photos, huh?

DAY 3 | 13:00 – 14:30Lunch

DAY 3 | 14:30 – 16:30Bingin Beach

Bingin Beach is one of the best and hidden beaches in the Uluwatu area. Just like the chase, the place is a bit hard in access and not much to know the exact location.

But until here you will be amazed by the scenery here are beautiful and clean sand.

Especially if you like surfing, here the waves are really good!

DAY 3 | 16:30 – 18:30
Tegal Wangi Beach

Our last destination this time is to see the beautiful sunset at Tegal Wangi Beach.

Just like Lake Tamblingan, Tegal Wangi Beach is the location of the photographer Prewedding to satisfy their clients. How not, in addition to sunset, 5 star rows of hotels are clearly visible from this beach.

DAY 3 | 18:30 – Go home

Its Time to go home
